Handmade rugs are generally made from the wool which is organic and natural, these are made by the villager woman in Turkey, especially in Anatolia. When you compare to hand made carpets with the machine made carpets, machine made carpets are made of synthetic and the polyester but the handmade carpets mostly made from the organic wool and sometimes cotton. Patchwork rugs can be called as decorative rug. Decorative rugs are easily combined with the interior design and home decor.
Patchworks are produced of older Turkish hand knotted carpets. These have been cut in smaller pieces and sewn together in new designs and sizes. Backing is fabric. All sizes are possible. We are making by hand stitching and machine double stitching.
